Gülfem is a high school senior in İstanbul. She is interested in psychology and cognitive sciences, and she aspires to study neuroscience at university. She is fluent in Turkish and English. As she begins this journey with her friends, she understands the power of unity and believes that together, they can make the world better.

Elif is a high schooler from Istanbul. When she’s not reading about history, she enjoys acting, diving and researching linguistics. Already fluent in Turkish and English, she’s dedicated to achieve the same in Spanish and French. Sharing knowledge with others is a very valuable endeavor for her. She aspires to pursue a bachelor’s degree in Political Science and Economics.

Yağmur is a high school senior with a strong interest in data science and finance, and she aspires to pursue a bachelor's degree in these fields. She enjoys watching movies and playing tennis, is fluent in both Turkish and English, and also wants to learn Spanish and German.
Nusrat Phahlovi

Nusrat is a high school Junior, currently starting out her second year of IB in Istanbul. It has been around two years since she moved with her parents to Turkey from Bangladesh, so we can only imagine that like any other immigrant kid her teenage years were met with a huge cultural shift and with difficulties of learning a new language. Having first-handedly experienced the challenges of mastering a new language and witnessed its importance for an individual to be part of a community, she wants to channel her experience into helping other kids navigate through similar situations, who in her opinion might just need a bit of relatability to feel free to make mistakes while learning the language.
